![]() Charles "Chuck" Barthlemess was raised in Hartford, Alabama and attended Geneva County High School until 1977. He joined the Alabama Army National Guard in 1977 and the US Air Force in February 1981. He traveled to various countries while in the Air Force. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in May 1992, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He also received numerous citations including four Air Force Commendation Medals, and an Air Force Achievement Medal for his leadership as Team Chief for the Eglin Air Force Base Honor Guard at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. He and his family moved to Rehobeth in 1995.
Chuck worked in construction from 1992 until 2001. Chuck has been employed with Houston County since 2001. He is a Master Mason, and serves as Secretary at Taylor Lodge #447 in Taylor, Alabama. He's a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the York Rite.
Chuck and his family have been active members of Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Rehobeth since 1995. He is a member of the adult choir, a Sunday School teacher, and member of the Pastor-Parrish Relations Committee. He serves in various other positions as necessary.
Chuck has been married to Mary Barthlemess for many happy years. He has one daughter Tammy and her husband Joey Depriest. He loves spending time with his four grandchildren; Chase Trammell, Rayne Depriest, Lance Depriest, and Gavin Depriest. All four of his grandchildren are currently attending school in Rehobeth.
This is Chuck's first term as Councilmember. His term expires in 2012.
Gary Enfinger
Gary Enfinger was born in Houston County Alabama and has resided in the Rehobeth Community for his entire life. Mr. Enfinger is 51 years old and graduated from Rehobeth High School in 1973. He is married to the former Cathy Tate and they have three children, Ashley, April, and Amber, who all graduated from Rehobeth High School.
Mr. Enfinger is currently serving his second term as Council Member. In addition, he also serves on the Planning & Zoning Commission. He has been employed by the City of Dothan for 20 years, and 15 of those years as Supervisor for the Public Works Division. Mr. Enfinger and his wife also own a business in Rehobeth.
Gary and his family attend Rehobeth Baptist Church where he serves as an active deacon, past trustee, stewardship committee member, property committee chairman and long range planning committee member.
Dan Norris
Dan Norris was one of the first Council members elected to the newly incorporated Town of Rehobeth in 1996. He is currently serving his third term as Council member. Dan is currently serving as Mayor Pro-tem and has held this position since October 2000. A 1954 Troy High School graduate, Mr. Norris is currently retired.
Mr. Norris was self employed with Dan’s TV Service from 1971 to 1995. In 1974, Councilman Norris continued his education at Wallace Community College Technical School where he received a diploma in Electronics.
Mr. Norris served in the Armed Forces from October 1950 to September 1952. A member of Rehobeth Baptist Church since 1971, Mr. Norris has served as a deacon since 1978. He has been a Sunday school teacher for the pass 32 years in which he has taught the same class. In his spare time, Norris enjoys deer hunting, turkey hunting and fishing. Council Member Norris has been married to his wife, Bula for 54 years. He has three children, Donna Kaye, Steve, and Felicia. He has nine grand children and 2 great-grand children. Council Member Norris’s term of office expires September 2008.
Lisa Jones
Lisa Jones was born and raised in Hartford Alabama and was a 1976 graduate of Geneva County High School and attended Wallace Community College. She has been a resident of Rehobeth for eleven years and is now serving her first term as Council Member Place 4.Lisa is currently employed as an Administrative Assistant for Dr. Ray Hix DDS. She has worked for Dr. Hix for the past 28 years. Lisa is an active member of Memphis Baptist Church for 26 years. She now serves as an adult Sunday School teacher and is a member of the adult choir. She is a volunteer for the National Peanut Festival. She enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family. Lisa is married to Ricky Jones of Rehobeth and they have two sons, Wade and Blake. Lisa’s term of office expires October 2008.
Charles Ray Crawford
Charles Ray Crawford is a 51 year resident of Rehobeth. He has served on the Rehobeth Town Council for the past 10 years and served 2 years as Mayor-Pro-tem. Mr. Crawford attends Taylor Assembly of God Church and resides with his sister Cyndi and niece Breezy.
Mr. Crawford is a 1972 graduate of Rehobeth High School. He went on to graduate from George C. Wallace Community College in 1976 with an Associate Degree in Science and later received a Certified Computer Programmer Degree from Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center in 1979. Mr. Crawford received his Certified Municipal Official certificate in 2004. Mr. Crawford recently retired from Southeast Alabama Medical Center after 25 years of service as a Computer Programmer. Councilman Crawford is an Auburn and Atlanta Braves fan.
